PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Cuoierie Meccaniche Brelli made the original straps for Panerai starting with prototypes in 1936 and then for the limited production watches in 1938. The first leather used was this Tan soft leather which was subsequently “found” in the back of the shop 70 years later. The “Produzione Originale” is our thickest strap at over 5mm and uses the flat engraved GPF-MOD buckle, a beautiful reproduction of the original 1938 buckle. This strap has unfinished edges and the 2 keepers are wider than most of our straps. A truly historical strap.
