Ennebi is an Italian watch brand established by Alessandro Bettarini and Luciano Nincheri in 2004 in the Florentine countryside area of Chianti. Ennebi watches are for civilians but with the appearance of military watches as its originality was closely linked to Officine Panerai. 

The founder of Ennebi, Alessandro Bettarini was once the manager of Officine Panerai’s mechanic planning and drawing sector, in which he designed the famous Orologio Subacqueo in Titanio Prototipo, a prototype not in commercialization but was shaping future models of Ennebi watches. Through his experience as Panerai watch designer in the Pre-V era (1993-1997), he developed the idea of building watches for time measurement and navigation so as to continue the Italian watch building tradition. The decision to make instruments for professionals and amateurs finally urged Alessandro Bettarini to create Ennebi with Luciano Nincheri, his past colleague in a small workshop as an external supplier of Officine Panerai. Ennebi watches are made with the highest technologies, consisting of the highest standard of quality and resistance against critical environment.

Being the Panerai watch designer in the Pre-V era (1993-1997), Alessandro Bettarini designed several masterpieces, the famous 5218-201/A, 202/A, 203/A. Panerai even had a watch case named after him (“Bettarini”) which illustrates his enormous presence in Panerai’s history. A year after Alessandro Bettarini and Luciano Nincheri had established the Ennebi Company in the Florentine countryside area, they moved the legal head office to Prato with strengthened production capability, bigger device capability and qualified personnel, which allows Ennebi watches to have an even higher standard of quality.
