When innovation adds to normality and simplicity, it leads to surprising and extraordinary creation. Keeping in heart the family philosophy “To innovate, you have to break the rules”, two French cousins worked together to create ENCELADE 1789, designing and manufacturing innovative, superior and extremely high-quality luxury accessories. After two years of rich research, they ingeniously applied the ball bearing system of the Haute Horlogerie philosophy into cufflinks, producing very innovative and unique three-dimensional rotating cufflinks breaking the normal rules. The creation has been patented in most of the countries in the world, and is made in limited editions.

ENCELADE is the French word of Enceladus, which is a natural moon of Saturn. The design of the especially attractive cufflinks was inspired by the similar ring concept of Enceladus orbiting Saturn, with the application of the ball bearing system of the Haute Horlogerie philosophy, perfectly combining technology and aesthetics. Each cufflink consists of minimum of 34 components, which enable its silent technical movement with 360° rotation, reaching a maximum rotation capacity of 150,000 revolutions per minutes. The design is the world’s smallest ball bearings and it becomes unique luxury accessories. To elaborate more, Enceladus was discovered in 1789, the year of the French Revolution. Adding the date to the brand name symbolizes that the two French founders have overthrown the usual concept of cufflinks and carried out a gorgeous revolution among luxury accessories.

The ENCELADE 1789 cufflinks include Dice Collection and Gyro Collection, whose shapes and patterns seldom appear in common cufflinks, thus new and amazing. The crossover of gold, steel and black PVD, together with Haute Horlogerie finishing (hand bevelling, polishing and sanding), creates pieces of extreme freshness and beauty.
